Step 1.
Setup your RentalsClub API
RentalsClub.org offers software services for the site owners who use WP Rentals WordPress theme on their website. If you want to take advantage of these services, you must have WordPress & WP Rentals theme installed & running on your website.
With the theme active, next step is to create your own RentalsClub account and activate the RentalsClub API in your WP Rentals installation.
Step 2.
Get the SMS Extension from RentalsClub
The extension SMS NOTIFICATIONS is FREE in beta version. To use it, you still need to get go through the “buying” process.
Step 3.
Get your Twilio API
The implementation of this feature is done through Twilio API which requires an API from Twilio + purchasing SMS from their platform. Click here for Twilio Pricing .
Step 4.
Setup the SMS Messages text from WP Rentals Options
Once you have the Twilio API setup, next step is to check what messages you wish to send via SMS and what text should each SMS Include. This is managed from Wp Rentals options.
Step 5.
Activate Phone Number and Start Getting Notifications
If SMS notifications is enabled, each user will have the instructions and the option to Activate his phone number in order to get notifications in User Dashboard – My Profile.
